I purchased a throw back 1970's era Harmon Killebrew jersey specifically for RAGBRAI. I wanted to honor the memory of my childhood baseball hero.
For those readers who do not know, Harmon passed away last Spring from Cancer.
I am not exagerating when I say I never went more than ten minutes without a rider behind me commenting about what an awesome human being Harmon Killebrew was.
So many losses.
